Automatic Sync

Every order, every adjustment synced automatically.

Your books stay current without you touching them.

Orders, inventory adjustments, refunds, and account updates flow between your store and QuickBooks automatically — the moment they happen, not when you remember to export a CSV.

The problem

Sound familiar?

You export a CSV every Friday and pray nothing was missed

Manual exports mean your books are always a week behind. Orders placed Thursday night don’t make it into QuickBooks until next Monday —if you remember.

Refunds appear in Shopify but not in your P&L

When a customer returns an order, Shopify knows. QuickBooks doesn’t —until you manually enter a credit memo, often days later, often with errors.

Month-end close takes a full day just to reconcile

Every sync gap turns into a reconciliation task. You spend hours cross-checking Shopify payouts against QuickBooks entries that should already match.

Why it matters

Built for the way E-commerce actually works

Real-time, not batch

Every order syncs within seconds of being placed. No nightly jobs, no weekly imports, no stale balances on Monday morning.

Truly two-way

Inventory adjustments made in QuickBooks propagate back to Shopify. Changes in either system stay consistent — no manual reconciliation to keep them aligned.

11 data points covered

Orders, refunds, fees, payouts, inventory, store credits, sales tax, chargebacks, shipping, adjustments, and gift cards — every transaction type mapped correctly.

Conflict-free multi-platform

Run Shopify Plus and WooCommerce side by side. Each store syncs independently — orders from one store never bleed into another’s ledger.

How it works

Get started in minutes — no engineering team required.

1

Connect your store

OAuth authorization in under 60 seconds. No credentials stored, no developer required. Works with Shopify and WooCommerce.

2

Confirm your account mapping

LedgerPort auto-detects your QuickBooks chart of accounts and suggests mappings. Review, adjust, or accept defaults and move on.

3

Sync runs automatically

From this point on, every order, refund, and fee that hits your store lands in QuickBooks in real time — no manual steps, no scheduled exports.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

Does it sync historical orders, or only new ones?

Both. LedgerPort can backfill historical orders from a date you choose during setup. Most customers start from the beginning of the current fiscal year.

What happens if Shopify goes down during a sync?

LedgerPort queues all events and replays them once connectivity is restored. No data is lost and no orders are double-counted.

Will it create duplicate entries if I’ve already entered some orders manually?

No. LedgerPort checks for existing entries by order ID before creating new ones. You can also set a cutover date so it only syncs orders after a specific point.

Does it work with QuickBooks Desktop or only QuickBooks Online?

Currently QuickBooks Online only. QuickBooks Desktop support is on the roadmap —you can join the waitlist from the pricing page.
