LedgerPort (“LedgerPort,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), operated by PushEngage LLC, a Florida limited liability company, is a data synchronization platform that connects e-commerce platforms to accounting and financial management platforms. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you visit our websites (including www.ledgerport.com), use our applications, or subscribe to our services (collectively, the “Services”).

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect information in the following ways:
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
Account Registration. When you create a LedgerPort account, we collect your name, email address, company name, and password. You may also register using Google OAuth or Shopify OAuth, in which case we receive your name and email address from the applicable provider.
Billing Information. When you subscribe to a paid plan, we collect payment information through our third-party payment processors (Shopify Billing and Stripe). LedgerPort does not directly store your full credit card number, debit card number, or bank account details. These are handled and stored by our payment processors in accordance with PCI DSS standards.
Support Communications. When you contact our support team, we collect the information you provide in your communications, including your name, email address, and the content of your inquiry.
Business and Account Settings. When you configure your LedgerPort account, we collect business names, store URLs, connection settings, sync preferences, mapping configurations, and other settings you provide.
2.2 Information Collected Through Platform Integrations
When you connect your e-commerce and accounting platforms to LedgerPort, you authorize us to access and process data from those platforms. The data we access depends on which platforms you connect and how you configure the Services.
E-Commerce Platform Data (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, Amazon). When you connect an e-commerce platform, we may access:
- Order data (order IDs, amounts, dates, line items, fulfillment status, payment status, tags, shipping details, discounts, and refund information)
- Product data (titles, descriptions, SKUs, barcodes, variants, pricing, and inventory levels)
- Customer data (names, email addresses, phone numbers, billing and shipping addresses of your end customers)
- Store configuration data (store name, domain, locations, collections, and sales channels)
Accounting Platform Data (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Xero). When you connect an accounting platform, we may access:
- Accounting items (inventory, non-inventory, and service items)
- Chart of accounts (income, expense, asset, and bank accounts)
- Customer records
- Tax codes and payment methods
- Classes and locations for GL classifications
- Transactional data (invoices, sales receipts, estimates, and associated line items)
Important: The data described above may include personal information of your end customers (such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, and physical addresses). You are responsible for ensuring that your collection and sharing of your end customers’ personal information with LedgerPort complies with all applicable privacy laws and that you have obtained any required consents or authorizations.
2.3 Information Collected Automatically
Usage Data. When you interact with the Services, we automatically collect information about your usage, including: pages viewed, features used, sync activities performed, errors encountered, sync frequency, volume of data processed, and timestamps of activities.
Device and Browser Information. We collect information about the device and browser you use to access the Services, including: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, screen resolution, language preferences, and time zone.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies. We use cookies, web beacons, pixels, and similar technologies to collect information about your browsing behavior, measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns, and deliver targeted advertising. See Section 7 (Cookies and Tracking Technologies) for more details.
Log Data. Our servers automatically record information (“log data”) when you access the Services, including your IP address, the date and time of your request, the referring URL, and your interactions with the Services.
3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

- Providing the Services: To operate, maintain, and deliver the data synchronization services you have subscribed to, including connecting your e-commerce and accounting platforms, syncing data between them, and providing related features.
- Account Management: To create and manage your account, authenticate your identity, process your subscription and billing, and communicate with you about your account.
- Customer Support: To respond to your inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support.
- Improving the Services: To understand how the Services are used, identify trends and issues, and develop new features and improvements. Any use of your data for improvement purposes is limited to de-identified, aggregate analysis.
- Marketing and Communications: To send you promotional materials, newsletters, product updates, and other marketing communications. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in any marketing email.
- Analytics: To analyze usage patterns, measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns, and generate aggregate statistical data.
- Security and Fraud Prevention: To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions, unauthorized access, and other illegal activities, and to protect the rights, property, and safety of LedgerPort and its users.

4. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share your information in the following circumstances:
4.1 Service Providers and Sub-Processors
We engage third-party companies and individuals to perform services on our behalf. These service providers have access to your personal information only to perform specific tasks and are obligated to protect your information. Our current service providers include:
- Cloud Hosting: Google Cloud Platform (GCP) — for hosting our application infrastructure, databases, and data processing
- Payment Processing: Stripe — for processing credit and debit card payments; Shopify Billing — for processing subscription charges for Shopify-installed apps
- Email Services: Lindris — for transactional and marketing email delivery
- Customer Support: FreeScout — for managing customer support tickets and communications
- Analytics: Google Analytics and other analytics providers — for website and product usage analytics
- Marketing Tools: Advertising and marketing platforms (e.g., Meta/Facebook, Google Ads) — for measuring and optimizing marketing campaigns
4.2 Third-Party Platform Integrations
When you connect your e-commerce and accounting platforms to LedgerPort, we transmit data between those platforms as directed by your sync configuration. This is the core function of the Services. The handling of your data by these Third-Party Platforms (e.g., Shopify, QuickBooks Online, Xero, WooCommerce, Magento, Amazon) is governed by their respective privacy policies.
4.3 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) comply with a legal obligation, court order, or legal process; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of LedgerPort; (c) prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Services; (d) protect the personal safety of users of the Services or the public; or (e) protect against legal liability.
4.4 Business Transfers
If LedgerPort is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email or a prominent notice on the Services of any change in ownership or uses of your personal information.
4.5 With Your Consent
We may share your information with third parties when you have given us your express consent to do so.
5. DATA RETENTION
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. Specific retention practices include:
- Account Data: Retained for the duration of your active subscription and for up to thirty (30) days following cancellation or termination, after which it is permanently deleted.
- Sync Data, Configurations, and Logs: Retained in accordance with your subscription plan’s log retention period. Upon cancellation, all sync configurations, mappings, logs, and associated data are permanently deleted within thirty (30) calendar days.
- OAuth Tokens: Encrypted OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens are stored for the duration of your active platform connections and deleted upon disconnection or account termination.
- Billing Records: Retained for as long as required by applicable tax and financial reporting laws (typically seven years).
- Support Communications: Retained for up to three (3) years following resolution of your inquiry for quality assurance and legal compliance purposes.
- Usage Data and Analytics: De-identified and aggregated usage data may be retained indefinitely for analytics and product improvement purposes.
When we delete your data, it is permanently removed from our active systems. Backup copies may persist in our backup systems for up to an additional thirty (30) days before they are automatically purged.
6. DATA SECURITY
We take the security of your data seriously and implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. Our security measures include:
- Encryption of data in transit using TLS/SSL protocols
- Encryption of stored OAuth tokens and sensitive credentials
- Secure authentication via OAuth 2.0 for Third-Party Platform connections
- Role-based access controls for multi-user accounts
- Regular security assessments and monitoring
- Secure hosting on Google Cloud Platform with enterprise-grade infrastructure protections
No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. In the event of a security breach involving your personal information, we will notify affected users without undue delay and in compliance with applicable breach notification laws.
7. COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to collect and track information about your use of the Services and to improve and analyze our Services. When you first visit our marketing website (www.ledgerport.com), we present a cookie consent banner that allows you to accept or decline non-essential cookies before they are placed on your device. Only essential cookies required for the basic functioning of the website are set without your prior consent.

The Services may contain links to third-party websites, services, or applications that are not operated or controlled by LedgerPort. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties. The Services integrate with Third-Party Platforms such as Shopify, QuickBooks Online, Xero, WooCommerce, Magento, and Amazon. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms of service and privacy policies, and you should review them carefully before connecting your accounts to LedgerPort.
9. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
9.1 General Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. You may:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal information.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
- Portability: Request a copy of your personal information in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.

We do share certain information with advertising partners (such as Meta/Facebook and Google Ads) for targeted advertising purposes, which may constitute “sharing” under the CCPA/CPRA. Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information. To the extent we process sensitive personal information (as defined by the CCPA/CPRA), we limit our use to purposes that are necessary to provide the Services.
Non-Discrimination. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA/CPRA rights. We will not deny you services, charge you different prices, provide a different quality of service, or suggest that you may receive different treatment for exercising your rights.

- Commercial Information: Subscription plan, billing history, transaction records processed through the Services

The Services are not directed to individuals under the age of eighteen (18), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. LedgerPort is a business-to-business service intended for use by businesses and their authorized representatives. 11. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
LedgerPort is based in the United States and the Services are hosted on infrastructure located in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where our servers are located and our central database is operated.
By using the Services, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States and to the processing of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Note: As LedgerPort expands to serve customers in the United Kingdom, European Union, and other jurisdictions, this section will be updated to include applicable international transfer mechanisms, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), and jurisdiction-specific rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR.
12. YOUR DATA AND YOUR END CUSTOMERS
LedgerPort processes data on your behalf when you use the Services to sync information between your e-commerce and accounting platforms. This data may include personal information about your end customers (such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, and addresses that appear in orders, invoices, and customer records).
You are the data controller. With respect to your end customers’ personal information that you process through LedgerPort, you act as the data controller (or equivalent under applicable law) and LedgerPort acts as a data processor. You are responsible for:
- Ensuring you have a lawful basis to collect and share your end customers’ personal information with LedgerPort
- Providing appropriate privacy notices to your end customers
- Responding to data subject access requests from your end customers
- Complying with all applicable data protection laws regarding your end customers’ data
LedgerPort processes your end customers’ personal information solely as necessary to provide the Services and in accordance with your instructions (as configured through the Services). We do not use your end customers’ personal information for our own independent marketing or advertising purposes.
13. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email (sent to the email address associated with your account) or by posting a prominent notice on the Services at least thirty (30) days before the changes take effect. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this Privacy Policy indicates when it was last revised.
Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
